Balance is a fundamental component of any movement we do. Being able to maintain a good balance is crucial to performing even seemingly simple activities such as going up and down the stairs or reach up to a high shelf. As we age our balance naturally decreases unless we specifically train for it. Along side with strength and mobility, balance training is essential to protect ourself for falls and injuries. Luckily with the right exercise and repetition, balance can be improved at any age or starting level. In this class sessions we will work on exercises to increase balance, flexibility, strength, body awareness, proprioception and concentration. The classes are meant to gradually improve your posture, balance and the way you move and feel every day.
